Whell, I for one have finished my "assignment" of chapters 2 and 3 soooo, am waiting for the word to go ahead and post. I went back and looked at how it was done and I hope that I was able to follow suit.
We'll see huh?

(shamless plug: another script snippet has been posted)....

Just for fun, I went back to the original 'sign-up' thread for LFB - it took us nearly a month to fill all the slots!!!

I'l take chaps 19 & 20, if no one else really wants them.

Go Earthy!
Thanks for the kind words, Furls, but just doing one chapter at a time in the Mordant's Need forum wipes me out, I can't imagine doing two at a time here! Ya'll are stronger than me.  8)
Donaldson is a very deep writer... :)

I need to read the Mordant books again. I have only read them once and that was about 20 years ago. :?

Yes indeed outrageously cool but don't let the closed list deter anyone from participating in the discussions/dissection. Afterall it's what it's all about! :D

Doesn't seem to be much interest in TWL dissections these days.

This happened about the same time last year with LFB. The holidays seem to bring about a big slowdown in participation. I think people just get really busy in the real world. The group read in Mordant's Need seems to have slowed down a lot, too, right now...
I wanted to let everyone know that I am not intentionally ignoring TWL dissection. (I participated quite a bit in the first chrons)...you see, I haven't been able to find my copies of the second chrons since I moved. I am approaching the point of breaking down and getting a copy of at least the first book, so I can read along...so maybe in a week or two, when holiday things settle down a bit for me, I might come along and comment and everyone's chapters. :)

Oh yes, crazy time for me as well, Thanksgiving, WAD, bdays, anniversary, Christmas...It all comes in a rush. But, the interest in dissecting is definitely still there! I love this stuff!! :)

It has a way of catching up w/itself..people find a way to double back, post and read. This is a traditionally slow time on all boards: Holiday Spam up^User time down...GIGO

I broke down and got another copy today, so hopefully will be able to join the discussions in a about a week, when I have a few days off of work. :)
