Rest easy, Michael. The world was enriched by your talent and your music. And also by the many humanitarian programs you funded.

I can't resist a clerihew...

Michael Jackson, King of Pop
Announced a comeback, but his heart chose to stop
Both fame and death came far too swift
Though the music remains an unquestioned gift

That's not at all what I did. If you knew more about the friendship/rivalry between myself and Menolly, you wouldn't feel the need to make that statement.

...whoa...
am I the cause of even more disharmony?
dlb was simply having fun; and he is right, we tease each other in such ways constantly, the silly faded orange shirt wearer...
...but I also know Savor Dam has picked up on some things that have subtly bothered me elsewhere.

My thanks to both of you. :)
Now let's continue to remember Michael...

Paris Jackson: "Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him — so much."

I witnessed today one of the greatest memorial services I have ever seen. I will never forget it and I will never forget Michael Jackson. His talent, his genius, his love for people, and his love for his children were immeasurable. Rest in sweet grace and peace, Michael. You were a gift to the world!

Michael's favorite song...

Smile--Charlie Chaplin

Smile
tho'
your heart is aching,
Smile
Even though it's breaking,
When there are clouds in the sky- You'll get by,
If you
Smile through your fear and sorrow,
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through- For you.
Light up your face with gladness,
Hide ev'ry trace of sadness,
Altho' a tear may be ever so near,
That's the time you must keep on trying,
Smile- What's the use of crying,
You'll find that life is still worthwhile,
If you just smile.

Goodbye, Michael
