I would think, what with you being a writer and all, that you would know how to spell 'impotent'.

worst keyboard player ever.

Impotent wouldn't even be right. What are you jibber-jabbering about?!

Oh, I thought 'important' was a misspell. 'Extremely Impotent' somehow seemed to better describe the vid, at least in my opinion. And HLT, I'm sorry to say this, but I've worked with worse.

Well, I find the cat's keyboard playing quite endearing and high above what I'd expect for a mammal of its brain capacity. To him (or her) I give my utmost respect.

I do applaud the cat's tenacity in learning the keys. Frankly, most felines I know wouldn't bother to do such menial work, expecting their human handlers to do it for them.

That poor kitty.

And yet this cat seems to enjoy it. Perhaps evolution has occurred right before our eyes? Cats now have reached the realm or abstract thought and expression...

Please. That cat wore the exact same expression as cats the world over wear when their humans dress them in adorable little outfits. The look says this: "Are you done yet?"

You can tell the cat enjoyed it by the fact that the cat allowed it to happen.

The cat is aware that it has no opposable thumbs, and so is at the mercy of the human who is able to wield the can opener. That, my leonine friend, is why the cat allowed it to happen.

The cat is unaware of A) opposition, and B) the concept of mercy, being generally above such mundane things. The cat is aware of the humans in the sense that the humans provide the cat with food and shelter, as well as sanitation services. This frees the cat to ponder greater things that only cats know about. The cat knows the humans will open the can, irregardless of whether or not the cat allows the humans to clothe it.

I find this supposition highly suspect. How do any of us know what a small mammalian species is cognizant of? You are filibustering. I suggest this topic be moved to the Close or locked, because I am getting highly offended. The suggestiveness is starting to become quite scurrilous.

False.
Clearly this cat does based of the fact that it dressed itself.

The cat does not know what thumbs are, nor does it know what the concept of hands are or any label or mode of thought we might have in our brains. It is in a completely different, cat-food oriented world. It runs on one cylinder and we're going at eight.

Dude, he dressed himself and plays, albeit poorly, a keyboard.
You still live at home with your mom.
That cat kicks your ass on every cylinder.
