How to introduce folks to SRD....

Often times, we feel that we need to get them started on TCTC, but that may not be necesarily so.... Here are what I've used and the results:
"The Killing Stroke"-Introduction to three people, two of which have gone on to read the rest of Reave the Just and Other Tales the other never finished the short story
"Penance"-One person, liked the concept of vampires but is now convinced that SRD is a slow writer.
"Daughter of Regals" One person who now acknowledges the greatness of SRD, and wishes to read the rest of Daughter of Regals and Other tales.
"TCTC"-Have introduced it to numberless people, one has actually read them...
"Deal-Making"-I'm in the process right now, I have to read a ton of Stephen King books, but this person must read the Chronicles and the Short Stories.
As you can see, there are various methods to introduce Donaldson, and some are better then others. Thoughts I've had are the following:
"Animal Lover" and "Mythological Beast" Could be used to for those with short attention spans. This can be later used to try to convince them that ideas are sometimes worth reading through, possibly with the short story "By Any Other Name".
"Unworthy of the Angel" would be excellent to show Donaldson's main purpose in writing with little grittiness.
Most of "Reave the Just" is pretty heavy stuff and should not be used to introduce people unfamiliar with reading. "Daughter of Regals" contains easier flowing short stories, though they must be informed that "Gilden-Fire" is "part" of TCTC it makes for a good introduction.
And, most importantly, when they decide to read LFB, let them find out about the rape themselves.
