Think I might finish The Waste Lands first. Jake has just discovered that the building with the deli has been demolished. :(

Variol, you are at the point which has what I consider the greatest single scene in all six books. Roland at his absolute finest. :Hail:

Started Wizard and Glass this morning. Roland is telling his story, and Susan has gone to Rhea to prove her honesty.

I hate being in the middle of two series at once. :x

Still reading the Drawing of the Three. Currently

It's turning out to be quite good.

Phew, finally finished slogging through The Drawing of the Three. I just looked back at the date I started reading it, and it took me just shy of 8 weeks. You people who say you're going to read Runes in 2 days must be superhuman 8O

Anyway, I quite liked it, though it became harder to read after Eddie was sorted out. The other doors, and the related events, were imaginitive and often chilling, but they were also hard for me to read. Usually gave me a headache. I think I'd better take a substantial break before the next installment. A Runes-sized break.

Eight weeks? Man, you must be a busy person.

It only took me eight weeks to read the entire Chung Kuo series. And that's over 4000 pages long.

I am quite busy, but it took me so long mainly because I could only read it for quite short periods without getting a headache. Although I did manage a 7 hour reading session in a hotel.

I have an ARC of DT7 lying around... but before reading it I'll have to get through DT6... for a person who reads at least a book a day, I'm finding it really hard to find the motivation to go back to this series, after the travesty of DT5. That sucked so much it was scary.

I have been told I don't need to read Dark Tower because I'm living it. I'm a little nervous of finding out what that means.

Of course, that was weeks ago. Any number of things may have changed since then.

What does THAT mean?

I am 150 pages from the end! I can't wait to discuss.

Oh wow, it's over...

I found the ending a bit disheartening...I wanted the mega happy ending...but, like King himself said, it was the only ending. May it do ya fine.

Ka is a wheel.

And I say thankya...
