LOL!! IT came as a surprise to me too. I checked stephenking.com, 'cause I knew it was some time this month, and just about fell outta me chair. As soon as hubby gets home with the car, I'm gonna go pre-order it at B&N (if I still can) to get the good price. It'll make a just in time b-day present for Colin - his birthday is the 10th - and I just told him the other day I thought it came out on the 21st or something.

I want to get the other four too. I checked them out from the library, so I don't have my own copies. I also want to get and read the revised version of The Gunslinger, the library only had the first print.

Finished it in one knuckle-biting four hour binge three days ago. I wanted so badly to make it last, but I just couldn't put it down. You're in for a heck of a ride!
