How old did you envision FF to be in human years? What kind of appearance did you see?
Was he like this?

Shorter hair, brighter shoulders and way more muscles. The face needs to be more rough and male and and like that of a male stripper.
In fact Foamfollower for me is the boday of Schwarzenegger (Conan) with the head of Ron Perlman.

I also never pictured him as some big buffcake. I had trouble visualizing him except around the eyes, which would be large and lined with smile crinkles. The hair would be insignificant, definitely not shoulder-sweeping. But not some giant Fabio, for God's sake! The head I always pictured as disproportionately large, so that despite their size the face was always somehow near. Almost troll-like, but winsome. Actually, the laughing Jesus is pretty good.

I was racking my brains trying to think who I could use to illustrate my mental image of Foamfollower. Then I realised I imagine his as basically looking like Balon. I imagine him older and with slightly different hair (and obviously taller) but it's the closest resemblance I've found:

Very good resemblance!! Do you suppose Balon would put on a leather jerkin and pose for us TC geeks?

I think I need to clear up a misapprehension. The picture of SFF I posted is not my work, but an image I found on the web. I hope that clears it up.

That looks more like Longwrath.
Always though Foamfollower would be a thinner build but with rock hard muscles. Like in the cover of TPTP. (the one where elena is trying to make him into a thin version of the Hulk)

That looks about right! Though, I personally always pictured him with more hair and a larger beard. Shrug. Sort of like Hagrid from Harry Potter.
