How many of you actually have white gold wedding ring?

I have one just in case I get transported to some alternate world where my only hope of keeping some overly used Thesaurus monologuing anti-god at bay resides only in my wedding ring with the inscription of "LOVE YOU BOOGER" proudly engraved on the inner ban.

Sorta funny, if I had to scream that out to activate it every time I got into trouble. Though I doubt I would rape anyone, let alone even get a mile before being devoured horribly in said alternate reality to even justify a chapter.

C'mon, how many of you got one and did you buy it or want it because of Thomas Covenant?

I'm not married. If I was I'd get a two toned one: white gold and normal gold.

Both Wheelwash and I have white gold rings. I actually think the concept of having gold which is traditionally yellow and making it white is cool, so thats how we choose ours.

My high school class ring is a pseudo-white gold, purely as an homage to Thomas Covenant.

my original wedding band is white gold - because i am no fan of gold. but the two rings i wear now - one is silver and the other is stainless steel.

all the jewelry i wear is white gold (which includes a band) with the exception of one necklace, my ruby heart, which is yellow gold.

i have always loved white gold best and my high school class ring
was white gold (i say was because i lost it long ago) so when i first
read LFB i was pleased to know that the wild magic was in the white
gold. i knew i'd have plenty wild magic on me should the need arise. :D
(yes i graduated high school before LFB was published :P )

but kevin, i'm a nut of a different sort. hee. i buy my SHOES based on
what i think would be good if i got transported to an alternate reality and
had to walk all over hell and creation under a sunbane!!
(not kidding  )

Yes I actually knew from the age of 14 if I ever got married it was going to be White Gold because of the Land, and I Got a nice White Gold wedding Ring... though my wife has platinum instead of white gold. I Never did like yellow gold so even if i had never read the books i would still be a WGW.

Yep, wife and I have identical white gold wedding rings (which she designed, and we had made...it's actually pretty cheap...relative to normal wedding rings...to do this as long as there aren't big, expensive stones in it). She just liked white gold, still has no idea why I was so all-for-it when she suggested it.

White gold for me, because of TCTC.
Yellow gold for the wife (to match the engagement ring)

White gold originally. Yes, because of TCTC. But I really do think it looks better.

I lost a bunch of weight 7 years ago, and it no longer fit. Kept slipping off my finger. I lost it, and have no intention of getting another one. Honestly, I couldn't stand having a piece of metal on my finger. It would keep me awake at night, it was so uncomfortable. I don't see how people wear jewelry. I don't even wear a watch.

Not married yet, but I believe it inevitable that I'll have a white gold wedding ring....and I'm kinda ashamed by it, since I could see my self referring to it more as a means of destroying time than as a symbol of my wedding... *sigh*

My wife and I got white gold rings. Me, for the obvious reason. My wife, she just naturally likes white gold better than yellow gold. And, no, she has not read anything by SRD...oh well!
