. . . now, for some Victor Wooten! I’ve seen lots of Wooten base solos, but this one even surprised me:

The Amazing Grace solo from the DVD Live from the Quick:

And a longer solo that demostrates a lot of different techniques (I highly recommend seconds 1:43-1:51

I actually have broken a number of bass strings...though, for full disclosure, I should mention that when I did so I was "picking" with a Dremel w/wire brush, and more "sound effect" than "playing."
