So, I'm working on UNCG's student publication this year. The Coraddi, as you can probably tell from the picture. We take submissions from everywhere. Case in point, there's a person in Vermont and another in Ontario, I think, who send stuff in every year and get published. So everyone is eligible. Even better, there are three cash prizes of $100 each for literature (prose and poetry) and three for visual art (photography, painting, etc.).

I'll even be submitting something myself, though I'm ineligible for any prize.

Just saw this. Sounds like a cool contest, but I have a hunch any submissions of mine would not be "unconventional" enough for the paper. Still, I am glad that it accepts entries from outsiders. I hope others see this contest.

I am intending to submit something to it if I can get it finished in time.

The Spring, 2011 Issue. I'm pretty damned proud of this one.

Without taking the time to delve in to the poetry, prose, and artwork contained within before posting, I will say I am enjoying the "Authors Notes" very much! Even though I don't know anyone listed.
