Worst movies ever

I'll apologize ahead of time if this thread all ready exists, but I couldn't find it. I'm hoping that this thread will become a good place to rant about cinematic abortions. To start off, I'd like to state that Plan 9 From Outer Space is often considered the worst movie of all time by the experts. These experts clearly have not seen:
Death Bed, the Bed That Eats People
Bloodsuckers From Outer Space
Zombie Lake
Requiem For a Vampire
Batman & Robin
More to come...I've seen a lot of horrendous movies

Starship Troopers
The Black Pearl
Supergirl
Superman IV
A Million To Juan
Nothing But Trouble
Caddyshack II
Heavy Metal 2000
The First Knight
Johnny Mnemonic
Ninth Gate
Godzilla 1996

On Her Majesty's Secret Service comes to mind right away. A real head scratcher that one. To be fair not all of the film is confused and idiotic. There's a few moments of a Jame Bond film in there near the end.

'8O'Ah, daNdeLION, I had managed to forget about Ninth Gate... not an easy task when you own it''... but now, I shall be shuddering all day! Must... drink... amnesia juice...

Far Harbor was the worst movie I have ever seen. Despite starring Jennifer Conelly.

Dan has many on the list I'd put. I'd like to submit:
Highlander II
The Village (because I've not seen The Happening)
Monster A-Go-Go - a movie so bad even the MST3K guys couldn't make it entertaining.
The first two might fit more into the category of biggest disappointments. But the third really belongs. It was truly a stinkburger.

It is mathematically impossible for me to agree more!

I quite liked it.
Fascination was better, though.

Ninth Gate
A seriously under-rated gem of a movie. The soundtrack alone sets it above a ton of films. Personally I loved its amoral sensibilities, its mix of serious horror with straight quirkiness. A great lead and a great villain.
You haven't seen a bad movie until you've seen
Bloodlust (Australian vampire film), or
Sex Killer ('60s sexploitation film). Yet the worst movie of all time (that I have seen) would probably have to be Joe D'Amato's
Porno Holocaust - a horror film with incidental hard-core sex in which a 'monster' (a guy that looks like he had cornflakes glued to his face) goes around an island and kills women with his penis. Another D'Amato classic. If it sounds even vaguely interesting, I'm not doing it justice, it's the most boring film of all time.

It must be BAD when not even Jennifer Connelly can redeem it.
Final Fantasy -- I still can't get over how wretched this thing was. The most lifeless, soul-sucking movie I've ever had to sit through.
Catz and Dogs -- really equally as soul-sucking as Final Fantasy, just not an epic failure on the scale of FF.
Hook -- by far the worst Spielberg film I've seen. Saccharine beyond belief.
Megaforce -- I'm fond of this film purely out of '80s nostalgia, but there's no denying its awful cheesiness.
Magnolia -- Final Fantasy may have utterly depressed me, but I don't think I've ever hated a movie with as much intensity as I hated Magnolia.
Moulin Rouge -- this is a musical?
The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu -- you needed the money that badly, Mr. Sellers?
the first Harry Potter film (HP and the Cynical Cash-In or something?)
Alien 3 -- "hey, let's kill off two of the most beloved characters from the previous movie just because we can!"
Black Christmas -- low-budget, badly acted '70s Canadian horror flick that starred a clueless-looking Margot Kidder. Yes, one day Superman would actually have the hots for her.

The Phantom Menace - despite the fact that the new versions of Episodes 4, 5 & 6 had killed the setting for me, this movie nailed the coffin door shut.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra - G.I. Joe: the Rise of Shit.
Australia - A land of Aboriginals that can turn invisible, a predictable story, and Nichole Kidman.

I was a kid the last time I saw it, but I remember liking it. What I want to know is if I'm the only one who liked FF: Spirits Within and thought Advent's Children blew chunks.

I thought FF:AC was okay...don't quite understand the hate out there.

Spirits Within would have made a decent Final Fantasy game. I think that may be the problem with it.

Nothing was as bad as the movie Open Water
Two people stranded in the ocean. Two hours of nothing but them floating around...... you knew what was eventually going to happen.
I liked the movie 'Hook' and I also think the first Harry Potter movie was the best of the series even though it had the lowest budget.

There are some here that I'm embarrassed to admit I liked!
But definitely agree with Highlander II as one of the worst.
Others:
Hannibal
the last Indiana Jones one (the title has been erased from my memory)
The DaVinci Code
Mamma Mia - my wife loved it, I hated it with a passion!
Well, they're maybe not the worst movies, but the most disappointing.

It's Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Well, here's another classic turd: The Legend of 1900, about a piano prodigy that lived his whole life on a boat named 1900 (Though everyone called him Lemons). I wanted to like it, it had a Roger Water's song in the closing credits... but, alas, it's another movie I own that I will never watch... at least, not in a sane state.

Short Circuit 2 through whatever the last one was.
