Them Crooked Vultures.

No word on an album. Just touring. I'd love to see this show, though

I've hears bits and pieces of the CD.. Sounds OK. But can the AWESOMENESS of JPJ and Homme completely hide us from the sheer, shitty SHITFULNESS that is Grohl? I don't think anyone's good enough to cover for the stench of that complete musical turd.

What?!?! Grohl is a musical savant!

Agreed. The album may have some weak points, but it ain't Grohl. If anything, Grohl makes the album. "Elephants" would be crap without those drums.

Saw their performance on SNL.....Disappointing. They're talented, they just don't seem to mesh well.

There is a cd out, and I've listened to some of the tracks on YouTube. I liked what I've heard, but it didn't grab me the way JPJ's solo cd Zooma did. Of course, I've had years to listen to Zooma, and I know that makes a difference as I just got Thunderthief and it hasn't grabbed me yet, either. But, if memory serves, Zooma clicked with me immediately.....it might just be that Zooma has no vocals, and the vocals on Thunderthief just aren't as interesting as the rest of the music. I like the vocals on Them Crooked Vultures though, and the drums. Oh well, guess I just talked myself into getting the cd......

I have the CD and I have found it disappointing on the whole. I love Nobody loves me, the opening track. Most of the rest are ok with some highlights, but it doesn't excite me like, say, Audioslave's debut album did.
