The Wraiths and the Worm

This is a fairly random thought. The aura of the Worm of the World's End consisted in motes of light. Of course the Wraiths haven't been described with the exact phrase "similar to the Worm's aura," but they do sound fairly comparable. The loneliness of the stars claimed by Linden or Covenant (do both of them think that stars are lonely?), which stars are also supposedly parts of the Worm's presence at the One Tree, is something matched up with the Wraiths near the end of FR (if I remember rightly).

So:

What if the Wraiths are part of the Worm? No wonder they'd safeguard Linden and pave her way to the krill if they suspected she might awaken their, uh, I don't know, parent? (Why didn't the Despiser historically attack them until Covenant went through Andelain with Atiaran?)

I believe that "stars" are a common theme when it comes to the Worm. Especially with regards to the Elohim.

But the Wraiths were not actually too similar IMO. They were described as small flames. And they danced, rather than drifted or fell.

What the stars defending the One Tree seem most like to me is the Grim flakes. Except bright and white instead of dark and black.
