What the flip is the BAFL?
I've never heard of it before but in a discussion about the upcoming NFL game in London someone mentioned the BAFL as an example of sustained American type Football in Europe. Then I went to the BAFL website.
www.bafl.org.uk/artman2/publish/BritBowl_46/index.asp
Wow. This has been going on for years now.
When did this happen?
Do any of our British members know anything about it?

I think its kind of cool. I always had wished NFL Europe had more staying power.
And now the NFL is projecting placing a legitimate NFL franchise in London at some time in the future.
I'm not sure that will work with the kind of travel involved.

There's always room for more football.

We don't need American Football here, we have rugby which is far better in technical skill, tactical awarness, flow of play, excitment and physical fitness... plus the players don't need to wear body armour :p
and we have football which is the greatest and most watched and played sport in the world
Cricket is also good
