DEATH OF THE BRIGHT SIDE
Any fool can see the outcome,
Nor will this be a tale to tell.
Anyone can see from any angle,
I'm gonna let this one slip away as well.
How the pain strikes an unclad heartbeat,
Each second is a splinter of ice.
That strikes to the soul of hope and dreaming,
And leers on while the bright side dies.

These are terrific song lyrics by the way.
Though I get a very strong general impression from this, I have to suppose that the
Bright Side is a bit subjective to the reader. I'm sure you have something specific in mind. Very thought provoking.

Talk about looking past the obvious.
I'm reading "Witness of the End." .
Its taking a while, but I've gotten past the death of Shana and the student is realing from the intruder. Pretty cool
