Too many to post, really! But here are some of my favourites. It's a genre I find fascinating, and if anyone has any to share, I'd be grateful....

The best anti war song ever written, by Eric Bogle
No-Man's Land

another Eric Bogle song, but performed by The Pogues
And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda

Ocean Colour Scene
Profit in Peace

My favorite is the Dylan song Blowing in the Wind, but I like it better with Peter, Paul and Mary.

Well...

I can't find a version of the song I'm happy with, but this sure does look interesting. Perhaps one day I'll come across the whole thing...

Gee! Luci beat me to For What It's Worth! First time I heard that song it was on one of those history documentaries about specific years, and they played it over some stunning imagery of anti-vietnam protests. Can't find it on youtube though :(

This one's more pro-peace or anti-terrorism than antiwar...

The Decemberists - "Sons and Daughters"
www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5H8DwJI0uA

When we arrive
Sons & daughters
We'll make our homes on the water
We'll build our walls aluminum
We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon now

These currents pull us 'cross the border
Steady your boats
Arms to shoulder
'till tides are pulled
Hold our grounds
Making this cold harbor now home

Take up your arm
Sons and daughters
We will arise from the bunkers
By land, by sea, by dirigible
We'll leave our tracks untraceable now

When arrive
Sons and daughters
We'll make our homes on the water
We'll build our walls aluminum
We'll fill our mouths cinnamon

Here all the bombs fade away

Oh! and I almost forgot
The Decemberists - Sixteen Military Wives
(I love the video, a definite nod towards the movie Rushmore by Wes Anderson)

Man, I haven't heard that in a long time - it's a great song! I guess most of Waters' catalogue is anti-war.

Here's one that I saw while listening to "The Bravery of Being Out of Range".

The Gunner's Dream

And one other for now!

Fiddle and the Drum

And Stone, "No man's land" and "Watzing Matilda" are real tear-jerkers!

Does John Lennon's "Imagine" count as an anti-war song? Or is it just a "stop being jerks, you guys, and get the hell along" kinda song?

This one chokes me up:

I was only 19

Here's a version of Imagine that I like, but I'm not sure if it's for everyone - it has a minor feel to it (as in minor chord thingy :P ):

Hello all! It has been ages since I logged in, let alone posted anything. Every once in a while, I might "lurk" through the postings but that has been about it. Don't ask me what compelled me to jump in now!

Anyway, a contribution......www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZN4crpOPi_4

I don't really care for the vid but this was always my favorite anti-war song. Perhaps someone will enjoy.

Duck out.

For a different perspective on wars;

Warchild is a song written by someone who survived being a child soldier in two different wars in Sudan.

Emma is his tribute song about the Missionary worker who rescued him.

Everywhere - Billy Bragg

Dig in boys for an extended stay
Those were the final orders to come down that day
Waiting to be saved in the Philippines
You'll wait forever for the young Marines

Now I believe to be here is right
But I have to say I'm scared tonight
Crouching in this hole with a mouth full of sand
What comes first the country or the man

Look at those slanted eyes coming up over the hill
Catching us by surprise, it's time to kill or be killed

Over here, over there, it's the same everywhere
A boy cries out for his mama before he dies for his home

All my life I wanted to be
As clever and strong as my best friend Lee
We grew up together along Half Moon Bay
Lee was Japanese, born in the USA

When Tommy was fighting Jerry along the River Seine
Me and Lee wanted to do the same
Then they bombed Pearl Harbour at the break of day
I was headed for these islands while Lee was hauled away

They said look at his slanted eyes, he's guilty as guilty can be
Sent here as enemy spies to sabatage the Land of the Free

I never got home, my platoon was never saved
That little fox hole became my island grave
Lee got out of jail but a prisoner he remained
Till he ended his own life to lose that ball and chain

And they said Oh Little Slanted Eyes can't you forgive and forget
And he said, Oh Mr Friendly Ghost
Can you catch water in a net?
