Thanksgiving

I am thankful............
for some wonderful friends that have graced my life. Some are here, some are gone, but all have made an imprint on my heart.
for recapturing my health that remained so precarious for the last ten years of my life.
for remaining employed when so many around me have fallen victim to the axe.
for my family, as flawed as they are.
for the creativity that is so indelibly a part of my life, for the madness and the ecstasy it evokes.
and I am thankful to all of you on the Watch, that have allowed me to be part of your lives.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I'm thankful for my family (primarily grandparents), youth, the ability to write, weather (good or bad), and the unusually nice gathering of TC fans that is KW. I'm also glad for being in good health, able to use my body as much as I use my mind... And living in a developed country like America where all my qualities were incubated and cultured through books, peace, protection, and friends.
AND WAR!!!
So in the name of hatred and war--Happy Foul-giving.

(ignore the condom commercial at the start. it is, after all, on spike.com)

I got a Tide laundry detergent commercial, rather than a condom commercial. I suppose I should be grateful...
(BTW, let's not encourage the younglings to ignore condom commercials. One of those just might save them from an error that might adversely affect their life...if not prematurely end it. So there!)

I got the Tide commercial, too. Which is as good a place as any to begin my thankfulness list for this year, I guess.
I'm thankful to have a job.
I'm thankful for the Watch, and for everybody here (even, I suppose, the neocons in the Tank

).
I'm grateful for my family and my RL friends.
I'm grateful that I don't have to cook for a crowd tomorrow.
I'm grateful that NaNo's almost over *and* that I might be done early.

I'm thankful I too have a job, despite the fact that I'm at it today.
I'm thankful for my wife and child and that they both appear to be in good health.
And I'm thankful for Tom Waits for cheering me up this morning.

I have so much to be Thankful for its hard to know where to begin.
My beautiful wife and my kids.
For the jobs that both of us continue to have despite the economy.
For health and continued happiness.
For answered prayers!
For all my friends here on the Watch!
And to my brother who also posts on this board.... Hey slacker... you haven't called or emailed in months! Quit being such a stranger! Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
We should also remember those in the military who must be away from their family and loved ones! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well !

Oh, so much to be thankful for...
My life, my awesome husband, my beautiful children, and all my wonderful friends.
I am thankful for the love that is showered down on me, and I am thankful for the means to help those who have nothing, who are lost...
God bless all my friends here on the Watch this Thanksgiving. May you all have a happy one.

I could thank many people for being in my life. Many of them are here. As has been said many, many times, the Watch is a very special place. My 7th anniversary here is coming quick, and I can't imagine not being here. So thanks, folks, for showing the world what the internet can be.
But most of all, I want to thank Christy. She blindsided me with a love and a life I never saw coming, and didn't expect to find.

Thanksgiving over here already was Oct 4. It's always the first Sunday in October after St. Michaels. So we don't even get a day off. It isn't that big a holiday over here anyway. No family stuff, no turkey, mainly and ordinary Sunday were those who feel like it go to church.
But to everyone who is haveing a big party today: Happy Turkey Day.

I'm thankful I didn't die in the many ways I could have, when I got hit by that car.
