So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD)

I mentioned in the chatbane the other night that I would like to start a thread showcasing some of my favorite routines from SYTYCD, my favorite show on TV.
In all six seasons, this is my absolute favorite, tho there have been many that I've loved. But this one...stopped my heart.

I'm not a fan of SYTYCD, but my wife made me watch this, and I think it's one of the most beautifully expressive things I've ever seen:

I'll post more soon. Brian loves this show too, so I'll have him post some too. There's one dance that Travis and Heidi did in the second season that won an emmy for Mia Micheals, the choreographer. So good. I"ll see if I can find it.

As Tracie mentioned, I absolutely love this show. Partly because of my own background in dance, but mostly because there is something about dance that, when the artistry of the choreographer, dancer and musician come together in just the right way, can really touch the soul.
Tracie already posted a link to my very favourite - Jeanine & Jason, 'If It Kills Me' - so I'll have to find links to some of my other favourites...
In the meantime, any predictions for season 6 winner?

Some amazing, amazing stuff. Being among the world's worst dancers (and artists) is a very sad thing for me, but I absolutely love watching it! 2 Steps Away is my favorite. Blows me away!

It's on tonight on FOX, Fisty. 8pm
Top 10. I'll probably fall asleep during it, thank goodness for DVR's.
And Brian, so far my favorites are Ashleigh, Kathryn, Jakob, Russell, Noell, and of course Legacy!
Also, I heard that Mia has left the show

Here's something beautiful, this was actually on DWTS: Susan Boyle singing "I Dreamed a Dream" which is beauty in of itself, but then, you have Tony and Chelsie (Chelsie is a SYTYCD alumni) dancing to it. Takes your breath away...
