What was samadhi's fate? (SPOILER)

Any conjecture on what actually became of Sheol after he was 'rent' (which I take to mean 'torn into separate shreds of existence') by Honninscrave and Nom? Some of his powers were obviously conferred to Nom, but what of the rest of him?
What parts of him were extant? Could he be restored by Foul in the same way that all three Ravers were enhanced in power in the ancient times?
The end of the 2nd Chrons is quite spooky when we track down to Herem and -ahem ... Jehannum cowering there. Will samadhi ever make a return?
Pete.

I don't think he will come back as such, but if Foul is playing around with time, we may meet a younger version, perhaps pre-King of Doriendor Corishev.

My impression is that whatever that may have remained of Sheol was absorbed by Nom. imo

Yeah clearfrontier ... I agree ... though what of the chance that we now have a possessed raving Sandgorgon running around creating havoc?
Maybe Sheol had gone deliberately limped, cackling wildly to himself, waiting for the Sandgorgon to drop his guard.
(I will never name the Sandgorgon)

Could be, Landwaster. I wonder if samadhi will eventually gain the upper hand, and possess Nom. A slow, insidious process that nobody, certainly not Nom, would notice.
(I'm not so worried about naming him. Even if I didn't have pretty powerful friends, we have learned from Hergrom and Ceer's defeat, and will prevail if we must fight again.)

That's my fear. Additionally, considering that the Ravers could possess hordes of rats, masses of eels, its possible that there could end up being a troop of Sandgorgons marching to the beat of the Corruption drum.

I doubt a raver could possess a Sandgorgon. They were able to possess beings based on their power. They could possess one human at a time usually. The creatures at the end of the second chronicles in kiril threndor had no will of their own so one raver was able to possess them both. Lesser creatures such as rats and eels could be possessed in multitudes. Giants and Haruchai were too powerful. Sandgorgons are a challenge for wild magic, so i guess a raver wouldnt stand a chance. I mean, nothing in the land could "destory a raver." Even the forestal of garroting deep (name?). Nom does it straight away.

You
may be right. It may be a high level of power in the intended victim that prevents Ravers from possessing. But it may also be what Linden was thinking:
The Giants and Haruchai had always been able to refuse. Perhaps because they had not suffered the Land's long history of Ravers, they had not learned to doubt their autonomy. Or perhaps because they used little or no outward expressions of power, they comprehended more fully that true choice was internal.

I'd say Honninscrave did it. He held the Raver within himself, even as the Raver tried to get out. I doubt this had ever been done before. We certainly never witnessed it before. Being trapped in Honninscrave at the moment of death is what hurt
samadhi so badly. Yeah, Nom did the physical act of killing Honninscrave, but he would have died, and
samadhi would have been rent, if the ceiling broke and fell on him. Then Nom ate up the pieces.
(Oops, excuse me a minute. Someone else wants to say something, and I'm glad I'm not in
your shoes!

All right! Simmer down there, Taiga! Not everybody's a Forestal, and not everybody is required to commit every Forestal fact to memory. Now play nice!

Yeah, you probably are.
