Are there aliens in the outer space of the Land?

Something that has crossed my mind is that the Land's earth has a moon and stars and possibly other planets and so on. Might there be aliens about? Solar flares? Martian moons? Asteroid impacts? I've wondered if the Land's moon has the same features as the real world's moon. The sun of the Land appears to be a "Main Sequence Star" like that of the real world. The mythology presented in the chronicles suggests that the universe of the Land was formed through more fanciful means than that of the real world but has many aspects that are similar. Is there an outer space? Are there other galaxies? Is all this postulating getting to a point? Just that the unexplained aspects of SRD’s Land intrigues me. If Covenant had been an astronomical specialist for NASA instead of a fiction writer, he may have been asking more of the same kinds of questions as I have in this post.

There was this big cosmic worm in their outer space once that ate all of that crap, then got indigestion and took a nap. And do not flatter yourself that you're in any way capable of spelling NASA, nevermind asking the same questions as a NASA scientist. :screwy:

Gosh thanks so much dAN for that atta boy. Nice job boiling down the worm of the worlds end myth to that of a fat, sleepy worm taking a nap. Well done. :-)

I'm beginning to think that no one wants to tackle this very pivotal and important subject. "The Truth is Out there.":-)

Maybe then thomas should have taken a telescope to the land with him and started recording the spectral classes of various stars and measured galaxies velocities etc...maybe the bloodguard had made an attepmt to measure the hubble constant:p

Of course there were aliens in the Land! Whaddaya think the Bloodguard were? Geneticly enhanced, if you ask me. And that Creator, he's an alien overlord. He put mindwiped colonists on the planet as an experiment, and then he discovered that an enemy overlord had sneaked on the ship and got off with the colonists. He put a force-bubble around the planet to keep the enemy there. :) The force-bubble also protects the planet from attack from the outside; there was a hole though. A hole that allowed them to use the teleportation devices, but it didn't allow the enemy to escape.

I can't have this much coffee ever again. Never.

What makes you think that there even IS and OUT THERE? The universe might end just beyond the atmosphere and the stars could be Elohim in disguise or something.

That is actually at the heart of my original question.

Are there Aliens in the outer space of the land?
Does a Forestal shit in the woods?

Does the Na-Mhoram have a funny Rukh?

Of course there are Aliens. You've never heard of Woodhelven 51? ;)

Does a Forestal do what? As far as I can tell no one has ever had to perform a "download" in the full history of the land. I'm guessing its cause the Land is differnt or sumpin.

Woodhelven 51? I have never heard of it but I'm not plugged in to the military industrial complex like some might be. I presume the "area" is hidden somewhere in the Southron Wastes. They must do ROD testing out there or some such black opps stuff.

Forgive my unfortunate timing. It must be a gift from the creator.

 My apologies Danlo...What I meant was:

Does a forestal evacuate his/her bowels in the woods? :D

And according to recent updates the answer is, quite suprisingly, "No"! Of course this begs the question, "If a forestal does not move his/her bowels in the woods, where exactly do they go?

Sheeesh...next thing you know people will be telling me that the Na-Mhoram doesn't have a funny rukh. :?

And while were on the topic what was wrong with the tale of my donnybrook with the sea cucumber??? I'm not going to lie and say it never happened when it clearly did! There are several smelt who will attest to that fact.

Hmmm....before we know if a Forestal poops in the woods, we have to know if a Forestal eats in the woods.
Just what does a Forestal eat?

And I don't think I'm the only one ignoring the na- Mhoram's Rukh! :P

forestals are sustained by their song and nothing more, so theydo not eat, and because they do not eat, they do not "evaccuate their bowls".

can we get a quote to that? because i'm sure there is one... i just dont know where....

Must be. Even during the sun of pestilence, nobody got the trots.

My personal theory, which at least covers from TIW on, is that Hile Troy was so full of it there was none left over for anyone else. Would that mean that Caer-Caveral's music was borborygmi?
