Ommision of Gap into "..." in new editions.

Post by Kirnus »

Ok, so at the moment im doing a study of Regereration a book all about madness. With this in mind I thought id try appling Donaldsons progression (conflict, vision, power, madness, ruin) to the novel with great sucess.

Upon mentioning this to a fellow Donaldson and where the idea came from he gave me a long hard look with no idea of what I was talking about. Confused he showed me his copy of A dark and hungry god arises, and there was no Gap into Power in the official title.

Am I the only one who considers this a rediculous ommision?! After this progression is cruicial to the gap...

An inexcusable omission. I was just saying somewhere that I actually prefer the "sub-titles" to the real titles in a lot of cases.
