I ordered a cd this morning from a small independent label, and here's the confirmation email I got:

Thanks for your order with CD Baby!

USPS

(1) Amy LaVere: Died of Love

Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.
A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure it was in the best possible condition before mailing.
Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy.
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, March 4, 2010.
We hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. In commemoration, we have placed your picture on our wall as "Customer of the Year." We're all exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Sigh...
We miss you already. We'll be right here at cdbaby.com/, patiently awaiting your return.

You have got to take a photo of the shipping packaging when the CD arrives and share...

Why can't childbirth be this awesome?

Well, I don't know; possibly because the earth's population would now be close to fifty trillion if childbirth was painless. But I hope that what (who) you got was worth what you went through to get it (him).

It always amazes me how much little things like that are so appreciated and yet so rare.

This is kinda cute too:

Call the Nestle Hot line at 1-800-295-0051 When asked if you want to continue in English or Spanish, wait quietly for about 10 seconds. Keep going and press 4. then press 7.

Geez, dude. It was just a joke.

I had two scares of losing my son: once at 12 weeks during a threatened miscarriage and the other at his birth, when I had an emergency c-section. No one cried more than I did when I finally got to hold him.

And I'd do it all over in a heartbeat.

I know you were joking, and never doubted for a second that you love your son. My response was a joke, too; at least, the first half was.

Yes, the line has been swamped constantly since that was posted on Facebook several weeks ago. Keep trying. It is worth it. :hearts:
