I'm Getting Married!

Well, it seems my Irrational won out over the Sanity for a while, as I ended up proposing to my girlfriend, and she accepted.
Although I don't know what my ring will look like yet, her set is white gold (at her request, and she's never even heard of Thomas Covenant!) with channel mounted diamonds. Her engagement ring also has a central ruby.

I must admit, at that scale it does look a bit like a civil engineering project, doesn't it.
But at "normal" life size it is sitll pretty.
