Does Darsint deserve his own book?

I think Darsint is a very interesting character. If SRD would craft an all new story around him and his world, I would read it in a heartbeat. Of course just about anyone on this site would read anything from SRD in a heartbeat but this character in particular seemed like an untapped adventure waiting to happen.

Being the #1 advocate of Darsint on this board u knew I would have 2, eventualy, respond 2 this thread.
What would be really wild is if the book ends with the battle of Pythas and the crew of Scourge just barely make it out to free space and they say 2 1 another, "My god what a hell hole, they must have some really weird secret weapons we can't even dream of..." ,"I know man! The only one who was making any headway against those bastards was the Commander and he #@!+ing vanished into thin air!!!!!"

A book on Darsint? That would be cool, but it makes me think of something else entirely. I wonder if Darsint is responsible for the Gap series. That is, SRD enjoyed writing about the character so much, and it gave him so many ideas, that he decided to write the Gap books.

That is actually pretty likely. At least having written about a future or alien tech character may have helped the process along.
I agree.

Well, it's unanimous. All 3 of us agree. Danlo, call SRD up and have him start on it RIGHT AWAY.

Since we're all Bucs fans and in agreement about this I'll just have SRD stop writting Runes of the Earth and have him get on it right away!
(p.s. ur jaw is starting 2 resemble, well, something other than a jaw!

Oh, no; he can't stop doing anything. He must do this in addition to the other stuff.

LOL!
I agree that Darsint is really cool. If not a book, a short story would be great.

Do so at your own risk, mullet-head.

I'm not sure I want to know where this conversation has drifted to.

Including a Darsint short story in the next collection would be satisfying indeed.

I vote for a Darsint story - but not until the last Chronicles are complete! I haven't read the Gap series yet... I am looking into getting the full collection before I start reading through them.
