My Bucket List

I eventually decided to compile a bucket list - have you?
Mine, in no particular order:
- Meet Sarah Palin (actually this is number one

)
- Go to Ground Zero
- Actually sell some of my art (the one's I do....not the one's I've bought)
- Eventually launch a successful online type business (I have a few ideas I'm working on at the moment)
- solve an actual mystery. I'm thinking of the Zodiac Killer but not sure just yet which one
- go skinny dipping. Strangely enough I haven't done this
- Invent something for the greater good of mankind (now that'd be cool)
- smoke a joint (yep - another thing I haven't done)
- have sex in a hammock (haha it may not work very well but would be fun to try)
- bury a time capsule but I think with a twist. I want to bury a digital time capsule - still thinking this one through

There's another thread like this around here somewhere....
My bucket list has grown alarmingly short:
* See Alaska (so I can finish collecting the set

)
* Visit the Czech Republic. I've got my eye on a walking tour of the hiking trail that runs from Vienna to Prague. No, I wouldn't have to walk the whole way!
* Visit Ireland and try to find what's left (if anything) of the ancestral castle.
That's it, really. Not much to live for, is it?

Maybe I should ask for suggestions for additions....

- Marry a nerdy (but attractive!) woman with black hair and blue eyes (though I'm flexible on the eye part)
- Find a job I like (or bite the bullet and go into teaching)
- Learn Japanese
- Move to Kyoto, Japan
- Finish my 2nd novel

some interesting stuff here.
if you are speaking of ground zero nyc better hurry, it's rapidly being covered up by another stunted tower. (no more skyscrapers around here)
try the joint and the hammock together, may enhance both experiences

then jump in the lake naked. (what a night that could be and it would cut your list in half) kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16901&highlight=bucket

ohhhhhhhh...now I get it. Kinda seems quite logical now you say it...
My bucket list is far too long...which is ok coz I tend to stay alive for a whole lot longer...besides, some of it's a bit naughty and probably shouldn't be confessed in public!

I want to tour all of The British Isles and sample lots of ales and stouts. I would also like to catch a world record fish. I'm simple like that.

Dude !! i'm hoping you're talking about the joint !!
I'm planning (tentatively) on visiting shortly after new years so if that happens and you're around, we will certainly need to get together
Oh and Sea, sharing is good for the soul - stop being such a wuss !!

Schweet. Has to be Jo'burg, but as long as it is, I'm up for it.

Really? I'd like to go there as well. According to my grandfather, my family changed it's surname after Culloden. Wandering about near Aberdeen and the Highlands would be on the list.

I'd like to go back to Memphis someday. The girls and I stayed at a motel there overnight when we moved back from Colorado. We drove past Graceland, which is as close as I ever plan to get -- the kitsch factor is quite alarming

-- but we didn't have time for the civil rights stuff, or the blues bars (which they woulda been too young for anyhow...).
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was cool. The memorabilia was amazing, of course, but I found myself most interested in the recording studio mock-up -- it told me just how old the equipment was that I was using at work.
Maybe we should form a Traveling Watchers group for some of these destinations we have in common.

If it's a hammock with the netting I would advise every guy to NOT get naked on it. Just imagining the things that could happen if "something" got caught and the hammock flipped over....

Mine:
I'd like to travel outside of the U.S., of which Ireland would be my first choice. The only time I've been outside of the U.S. was a couple trips across the border into Nogales Mexico.
I've always wanted to create a song. I guess in many ways I have created songs, but none that I ever remembered to be able to sing again. But that's what I mean.
Which ties in with this one: learn to play the guitar.
Finish at least one of my stories these days.
It's not a big or complex list. Although I did leave out the weird sexual stuff.

Yeah great - make me fly for 400 hours and you can't make a small hour long flight

Schedule it for a weekend, and send me a ticket, and I'll be there.

Otherwise...
(Don't you have to fly via Jo'burg
anyway?

Just catch a (much) later connecting flight. )
