glad you asked.

on the personal side i am on the medifast diet.
cut out carbs. including bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, chips.
also fried foods, sweets, corn, fruits, carrots.

the results?
i have lost 69 lbs in 14 weeks.
i have reduced my cholesterol by 100 points. (down to 94)
and i am on no meds for diabetes at all.

work?
i am on loan to another prison for the past month - they lost most of their kitchen staff.
this unit has a bit more inmate acting-up than i like.
but all is well there. smaller unit.

family?
julie's nephew had his first child - a baby girl.

art?
working on writing as usual. will have to post some of that.
working on a sculpture for this year's county fair, excited about that.

if i left anything out - just ask. :)

Sounds like things are going well. Congrats on the success of the diet, in particular. I have a lot of trouble trying to stick to regimented eating patterns. And 69 lbs? Impressive!
