That the entire school seems to hate Harry at one point in every book.

TPS = He's loses 150 house points and the entire schools hates him for it
TCOS = Everyone thinks he's the heir and hates him for it
TPOA = Not in this one
TGOF = He becomes the second champion and everyone hates him for it
TOOTP = People think he's lying about Valdie-Mart and everyone hates him for it

I mean whats it with these losers, can't at least some time go by where he's not branded Satan by his School friends. I mean the guys gonna end up a paranoid schizo bye the end of the stories.... sheeeesh

Yeah, poor kid. He lives a very public life, never gets a chance to be a normal unobtrusive kid. In a way, bad as the Dursleys are, I think Dumbledore did Harry a favor sending him to them. (Other matters aside) It's bad enough becoming such a public figure at eleven. Can you imagine growing up that way your whole life?

The Hufflepuffs seem to hate him a lot. More than the Slyths, I'd say.

And in the Sorcerer's Stone, only the Gryffs hate him.

Still, with another wizarding family, Harry might've ended up a black-haired version of Dudley.

*sigh* sounds like me in highschool, though obviously much different things (and substantially less dramatic things, for that matter) happened....everyone hated me at some point nearly every year, too...except senior year...we haven't seen Harry's last year at school yet, but my guess is he won't have it as easy as I did that year.

Why did everyone hate you? Your nice Just give me the address of those people and I'll cut them down!

*grin* well...I went to a small school...it was one of those places where you piss off the wrong person, and they influence everybody else...mostly it was just stupid things like something coming out of my mouth wrong (ok, I admit that a couple times - not of all the times, just a couple - I DID actually mean things the way they took them) and then it all getting blown out of proportion, thanks to the good old rumor mill...one time I told this girl that I had caught her boyfriend cheating on her (she WAS my friend, and the relationship was just not healthy, though she refused to see that), and somehow that got twisted into people saying I had been the one her bf was cheating with, even though I wasn't...anyway, you get the picture.
