New forum description contest

Understatement of the year?>LOL: Sometimes I've been known as an admin or moderator who (like stubborn bull) does his own thing, sometimes without majority consensus. This time, however, I'm warning Jay, Av and the board that I intend to, eventually, change the intro description to this forum from 'Someone about someone named Mordant who apparently needs something", or however it goes, to something else. I do love it and think it's very quaint, but I think it's high time we had a new intro to attract more readers.

So in the spirit of democracy, I'm opening up suggestions to you. One example might be: "The stunning two volume work all done with mirrors." No, that's not too hot, you guys can come up with much, much better alternatives. Good luck, and thanks.

F#cking Mirrors, how do they work?

It's not a t-shirt contest, it's a forum description contest. You guys can do better, or I'll come up with something. :P

We NEED Mordant's Need!

How Mordant's Need translates to life or mirrors life: discuss.

Jenn says post here about MN or suffer the consequences.

How are those suggestions?

Danlo, that is very appropriate...but is far more germane and serious than most of the other SRD forum descriptors. Do we want to try to be the leading edge of a change in that direction?

As Jenn suggests above, discuss...

OH OH! I forgot this gem:

Jenn LOVES MN so why don't you? Don't you want to be cool like Jenn? Read it and join us super cool kids in this forum NOW or choose to be a loser.....

I would try to reign myself in right about now but nah... not feeling it.

I like the Silverlock quote too. However ...

What’s to say about a place where you don’t want to see yourself in a mirror?

The classic narcissist mantra: The world didn’t exist until I could see it in a mirror.

I reflect, therefore I am.

Steeped in the verbosity of his prose / and with lots of mirrors / Donaldson writes another fantasy

"Reflect" and discuss Donaldson's other epic fantasy
Should be "Reflect upon ..."

But I can see why that is so much better than "Reflections on Donaldson's other fantasy series", which I suggested weeks ago. Yours is more epic. :)
