The Hard stool stool, gives the sitter constipation
The IrritatingEarth stone, not as bad as the IllEarth stone, just makes you stub your toe or arrive a day late for the celebration of the spring
The HotWater bottle, makes water just too hot to drink or bath in

The other three ravers:

Turnstile Harumph [whacks you in the crotch when you're late catching the Ranyhyn]

Semanti Schule [interrupts all your magic with questions about what the 7 words REALLY mean]

Muscatel Jezebel [keeps refilling your glass, then you wake up in puddle of strange liquid and wonder where your robe is]

Sun-bran.

The only food that grew during all phases of the Sunbane.
Unfortunately only a few ounces of it was equal to 5million times what your body needed for it daily fiber intake.
Marid got off lucky comparably.

Lord Foul's Bins, were always filled with noxious offal, musty old bones, and fish heads, so it was no wonder that the binmen were continually falling sick and having to take days off work to recover. It got so bad that they threatened to take strike action. The Department of Rubbish Collection finally gave in under Union pressure and stopped all future service to Foul's Creche.

Not surprisingly, Lord Foul was furious and took legal advice. His lawyers drew up a law suite against the DRC, but before the case was brought to court, as we all know, Thomas Covenant destroyed the Illearth Stone reducing Foul's Creche and much of the promontory to rubble that crashed into the sea. Along with Lord Foul's bins.

Little known to Thomas Covenant the Department of Rubbish Collection awarded him the title of Honorary Binman of the Year which also came with a life time's supply of durable gloves and navy blue overalls.

Kevin's Tourette's

A litttle know bit that Lord Kevin went to recite Earthpower poetry to soothe his nerves.
But during the recital, Foul showed up and Keven lost it.

The rest is history.

Not to be confused with the newer "Grand-Sonbane".
It's full potential may not be known for another 16 - 18 years from now.

Before the Illearth stone, there was the Healthyearth stone. When LF found that it made the earth healthy and perfect, he immediately abandoned it and found a stone with the opposite effect.

Should this be in Mallory's?

The Illearth Stein -- it skunks beer on contact.

The Lurker of the Ruinwash was an eight-legged beastie that despised clean linen and would lie in wait until the sheets were on the line. Then it would crawl into the backyard and squirt nasty black yuk onto them. The only consolation gained from this troublesome bane was that the graffiti was illegible.

And give them more posts? Never!

The Biles: an ancient race that despised itself for having originated in a kegger during Berek's wild college days.

The inane Bane - sometimes trying hard simply isn't enough.

The insane Bane - makes you randomly pick up branches and talk into them as if they were cell phones.

Lord Foul the Reciter - tortures you with reciting poems (reminiscent of the Vogon Captain)

The Ritual of Obstipation - happens after eating dried stuff all day. In another universe Frodo Baggins suffered from it, judging by his facial expression in the movies.

Rayhhrhynrhn - the Graet Hosres that roma the Plians of Dyslexia.

Thanks JtGK for the suggestion - unfortunatly I haven't read HP and I know this 'Bain/Bane' was in a book I read many moons ago. I know it was good but all remember was this B charachter! Ahh the trials of age related brain softening......

RE: Bane, it could be the series by P C Hodgell , starting with God Stalk. There is definitely a significant character called Bane in that.
