Can we have a quick round of applause for the Jeherrin guys - those squishy little fellows that lived on the extremities of the Sarangrave and roamed right up to the boarders of Foul's Creche. They are not terribly high profile charachters in the story but did they prove thier worth or what!

I wonder what happened to the jheherrin after the destruction of Foul's Creche?
‘With a blast that jolted the Sea, the whole centre of the
promontory exploded into the air. In a rain of boulders,
Creche fragments as large as homes, villages, the wedge split
open from tip to base. Accompanied by cataclysmic thunder,
the rent halves toppled in ponderous, monumental agony away
from each other into the Sea.’
That sounds pretty destructive, but it's hard to say if those squishy guys could have survived it or not. If they did, did the last of them die off years later, with no more misborn servants for Foul to throw into the pit to increase their numbers? I think the book said they can't reproduce, but I might be wrong about that.

Solar, am I not right in thinking that the destuction of Foul's Creche happened at the end of TPTP, and we get an update on thier history in TWL which answers your questions. I am being deliberately cagey here because I sense you may not have read The Wounded Land. (Or my memory may have flunked me and I have got it all wrong - It happens!)
