Maybe this has been brought up before, or Ihave missed it in my 3 or 4 reads of the 1st and 2nd Chronicles, but where is Berek's ring? He's dead. They kept alot of other crap from the past. Where is his ring?

'Puking up yer ring' is term used for vomiting on an alcohol binge. Maybe in Covenant's loo. When he returned home after the Illearth War I seem to remember there was a couple of pages in that location. Just a wild guess!

Berek didn't have a ring. However, he did know of white gold in some way that remains a mystery. Perhaps this is what you were thinking of. Whatever little knowledge he had does seem to be passed down to the other Lords.

Berek cured his ringworm when he made the Staff of Law.

Bereks ring was twitching when he did battle with the kings forces, after he summoned the firelions his ring settled down, I imagin he took it to his grave!

Deagol found it at the bottom of a stream. His brother Smeagol then killed him, took the ring, was corrupted by it and gradually became Gollum.

Love your little picture (avatar?) Morinmoss. It reminds me very much of the art of a german lady called Neudecker (I forget her first name) who does these hyper-realistic mountain and forrest models, complete with clouds and mist etc all set in huge cubes of clear perspex.
