New game of Calvinball. This time, Calvinball only cares about your actions, and will never gain or lose points based on frail appearance. We're no longer than vain. And, just to get an interesting tone going, I'll set the scene. Calvinball 2: Battle for the Skies.

Hovering 10 miles over the city of Seattle is the Team Calvin goal. It's held up by pterodactyls, maybe a 10' metal funnel, narrowing to an 8" hole at the end. Spaceman Spiff is hovering in front with his jetpack, blaster-ray at the ready. The ball is currently 6" wide, somewhere in Kansas.

Maybe a stuffed tiger can't play games without a person?

I hold up Hobbes. I talk with a deep tiger voice. "I'm Hobbes. My goal is an old water barrel at the bottom of the Grand Canyon."

Then I start walking towards Kansas. I carry Hobbes with me.

Spaceman Spiff flies with his jet pack to his orbital shuttle, and then uses that to get to Kansas before Team Hobbes to get the ball.
