For all UK based devotees....

AATE is available from 28th October 2010!! (15 days to go)

Paperback version due to be released on 13th October 2011.....
It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I'm hanging out for the hardcover though, will get that on 1st Movember no doubt, though I still have a little while to go in my current re-read, dammit!!
I think that might be Oct 2011 for the paperback...!

Just ordered mine from Galaxy in Sydney: 1st November.....hey Ninjaboy is that a typo or are you doing the sponsored thingy???

Is anyone else here anticipating another Giantship voyage seeing as we now have...
a) Giants.
b) The European cover.
c) Amazon.co.uk related video.

Just wondering...

I *love* the video!

I may have to order the UK versions eventually, just because the covers are so pretty compared to the US ones....

Just for reference sake: that UK cover (the blue one) got dumped for the now brown one in the "trailer".

...and that trailer. <groan> (Sorry Ali :)). I like the start and the very end and the rest of it is terrible (just my opinion, of course).

I thought that a long time before seeing the covers. Doesn't the Last Chrons seem strangely familiar to the Second? Coincidentally, I recall Donaldson saying that he originally had intended the 2nd Chrons to have 4 installments.

Where would the sea voyage go? The giants are already in the Land. Jeremiah (as far as we know) is in the Land. The Worm of the World's End is... well, wherever he is.

Maybe they go to see the Elohim?

I heard from Seareach that most of it sucked. Anyway, if this quest happens
to take to the seas again at the end of AATE, I speculate they will be going after the source of the skurj, Kastenessan.

Oh, it was about some trailer, not the book. Sorry! Bad eyes.

It *did* take me awhile to figure out what the squiggles were, and why they kept going and going and.... Then I remembered what the book cover looked like.

Too bad that the blue got dumped -- blue's my favorite color. ;) Wasn't the UK cover of Runes brown as well? Is the publisher trying to make them all match or something? Odd....
