i haven't read aate and although i'll be buying my copy as soon as it hits the shelves. call me crazy, but i just had an odd thought.

i'm not privy to the evolution of jeremiah as a character, but i wonder if there is a some kind of relationship between him and the creator.

perhaps this whole story comes full circle and back to the beginning for the land, with lord foul trapped in a construct like the vizard wanted to do to the elohim. that would put lord foul in a prison for which there is no escape.

got a feeling after this book it's gonna be a long friggin 3 years... thoughts?

What - it's 'the Worm Oroborous' all over again?
I think (hope) SD is too clever for that..

LF was just weakened before LFB, not trapped (except by the arch).

RC's 'plan' to encase LF in 'temporal ice' and Jeremiah's constructs are totally different to the incapacitation by the RoD.

However, the Land is a place where these things might work.

No. he hasn't read the book so it's mere speculation

Hell, maybe Jeremiah IS the Creator...

everytime jeremiah is around, i keep thinking about when the creator asked TC in PTP, if he would ever create a world where the hero might reproach the author... (or something like that)

i think glaive hit it on the head, that's my suspicion. time will tell, fun to speculate though

Rather than Jeremiah being equated with the Creator, I'm more privy to the idea that Jeremiah was somehow visited by the Creator prior to his actual translation to the Land.

In each Chronicles, the Creator spoke to the potential redeemer of the Land before going there. I think Jeremiah fits the bill this time.
