All of the book endings of the FC seem devoid of light and happiness. (Yes, even TPTP. He's going to survive so he smile, not the warm friendly, he invited his guests in of other books).

Taking the last paragraph or so, Which book ends nicest?

WGW. I reckon SRD wanted to end the series nicely, two decades later FC comes along with the new issues, new characters and old friends (OPAL forever!!!!!!!)
