Does the Creator Live in the Real World or just Visit?

Regarding the Creator's presence in the Real world, I couldn't help but notice that he seemingly appears only when he has important business to attend to. Either to accost Covenant or Linden. He also seemingly disappeared after Linden helped him in the drive way of Haven Farm. I suspect that he only appears when the need arises as apposed to being a permanent resident.

I tend to agree Cromas.....I think the creator is aware of our world and the potential of certain people in it to aid his own creation but he's certainly not a resident here.He obviously has some power here as he saved TC's life once but I would say he's more preoccupied with his world or at least keep Foul imprisoned through the use of volunteers from this one

Yes, they both had very good points. :)
Also, as the Creator, mightn't he also have other worlds of his own to go hang out at? (Besides the Land, that is?) :?:

The Creator told TC something along the lines of "Your world as well as mine runs by law."

That would seem to mean that the Land's Creator is not our Creator. He can also come and go as he pleases here, which he can't do in the Land, which he did create.

I wonder if there is a whole pantheon of Creators. Each fashioned their own world (part of a lab for Sim Society 101). Foul was perhaps one of them that finished his science project quickly and haphazardly, then went over to bother the geeky kid as he meticulously worked on his. But he didn't count on the geeky kid reaching over his shoulder, grabing the bully by the scruff of the neck, and casting him into the world he was creating.

So OUR earth is actually someone else's creation (another student from that class). The Land's creator can't go back into his own world, since he put up Time to keep the bully from getting out. But he can, for some reason, go into a friend's earth and get help for his own world that way.

Grasping for staws, am I? :-)

Mind blowing concept Romeo. What a refreshing take.

I think he only came for Thomas and Linden, and will come in the Third chronicles as well.

I suppose you are right about the creator popping in for the Last Chrons. Maybe we'll get a better idea who he is exactly. I'm very curious about his nature. :D

I think that he's Covenant and so Foul. Because when they go back in time Thomas becomes the Creator and Foul. Foul being the despiser. because he and Foul r one or something.

maybe in the third chrons lord foul will find a way to transport his way to the real world...

...TC comes back from the dead to stop foul and also transports himself to the "real" world, inso doing he breaks our law of death and thousands of zombies arise from the dead...

...Meanwhile Foul did not anticipate that in our world he would have no power in our world narrowly escapes being murdered by some thugs when Linden (who has been studying the fighting arts under a grand master) rescues him. She does this because she hates death, even the death of dispair...

..so anyway, the army is trying to fight off the hordes of zombies but they just wont die and the world is thrown into disary. So is Covenants mind as he can not handel having so much undeath on his hands, furthermore his ring is powerless in our world.

...Everything seems lost when something amazing happens... Foul and Covenants world hopping created a temporal rift between our world and the land, people of the land beggin to come through, and it seems that the "everyone that goes to the land gets a special gift" thing works in reverse. The ordinary people of the land have imense powers in our world and manage to defeat the zombies, and Covenant goes back to being dead...

...After the threat has been eliminated everyone wants speicial powers so they swap worlds and solve all their new worlds problems...

Foul is kept prisoner in our world, he is now the least powerfull being on the planet as everyone else has special powers...

Everyone lives happily ever after...until Foul escapes!!!...but that's the fourth chrons... :D

Uhh, which Creator are we talking about? The Land's, or ours? You really should be more specific. Either way, I'm sure He lives wherever He wants to. :screwy:

Would that mean that Disco would come back?

Related question: was the Creator's state of health when Linden first encounters him in TWL an indication of how badly The Land is suffering, or did he stage that as a test to see if Linden had the moxie to be The Chosen?

To me, how that question gets answered affects the debate as to whether the Creator is a permanent resident versus a casual shopper.
