It's a good book despite some things i didn't like, but no way no how is it better than any of the first six. More power to you if you feel that way though.

Having just finished it this very minute... I will say it is one of the best books in the chronicles. Don't know if it's *the* best, but it's right up there.

I was worried when it started off so slowly. I mean 5 chapters of sitting around in Andelain talking... wow. But it made up for it later. My hope now is that SRD has a monumental flash of inspiration and finishes the Last Dark in something less than 3 years
