I would think that in America alone, the savings made for medicare and social security and a whole bunch of other stuff, would eliminate the deficit in no time, and solve everything. On a global scale, we're talking world peace in a decade.
Additionally you have:
Global 'warming' (yeah we know it's a hoax) - solved
Over-population - solved
Fossil fuels - they will last forever
There's bound to be heaps of other benefits such as no old doddering politicians
