Zainal: don't ya just love this guy?

For those of you who don't know this, he a Catteni, he likes Kris, he's gray with yellow eyes, he's basically an haruchai only about 6'7". He can't speak English properly in the first two books, and it's very funny. So don't ya just love him?

Yes, he is worthy of respect and he becomes very lovable. No, I don't think he is in the least like a Haruchai. Above all, he trusts his emotions and acts on them.
