Figured I'd post this before I was too drunk to, and before you guys were too drunk to reply!
Anyway, feel free to talk about all the resolutions you have no intentions of actually keeping, and all that shit.
Happy New Year!!!

I resolve to finish the '09 NaNo novel, and start going to the pool again (just as soon as the holidays are over!

), and be in Albuquerque in June for Elohimfest.

i promise...nothing.
but i have a LOT of hopes.
i'm thinkin a little town on the pacific mexican coast...
"I'll keep an eye out for you and the chessboard ready. Remember, Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."
"I hope I can make it across the border. I hope to see my friend, and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams.
I hope."
but i don't count my chickens.
happy new year watchlets.
/hugs and shit.

Happy New Year to all and hope that 2011 is better than 2010.
Thinking about quitting smoking cigarettes this upcoming year.
And now that my wife and I had spent most of her lotto winnings from February, I will have to go job hunting again.
Bummer.

Resolutions: to have a happy, healthy, productive year in 2011

My resolution still is 1024x768 on an oldish 17" monitor. Will buy a flatscreen TFT however next week year ... week.
Honestly - I don't go for resolutions. I only have aims and 99 times out of a 100 I reach my aims. In 2011 I will lose some extra pounds and hit the gym again that has been collecting dust for 2 years in my cellar now. Apart from spending more time with the family I'll start a country-rockabilly project next spring.

Well, at least Vader opening salvo about screen resolution is in keeping with the intent of the OP:
___ wrote:...feel free to talk about all the resolutions you have no intentions of actually keeping, and all that shit.
Yes, ditch the old monitor and get something big and crisp. Or (better yet!) make something big and crisp and then tell us all about it in the Galley.
My resolution -- which I
do intend to keep -- is to improve some other people's lives without completely bollixing my own. Also to stop licking my wounds from the crash of the last decade and get my long-term financial plan back on track.

By needling him

i resolve...............
to forgive my failures
to allow love (in it's many forms) into my life
to lower my expectations of myself and others

Way too sane.
