Kastenessen doesn't think of himself as an ally of Foul, right?
Foul thinks of K as just a useful tool? Or...?
What's the relationship here?

I think you're basically right...K. is aware he's on LF's side right now, but that's irrlevant to his purpose. Destroying the other Elohim is worth anything to him...even destroying the world in the process. And LF sneers at the Elohim as everyone else...K. is just a tool [though perhaps a particularly useful, and entertaining one when you're as mean as LF. Like the guy who owns the champion rooster in a cockfight.]
