Book Printed Upside Down

This isn't actually a question about the events in the book--I am still in the process of reading it--but about the book itself. I bought it last Saturday and, upon opening, discovered that my book was printed upside-down. :?

Did anyone else run into this or did I just happen to get a misprinted copy?

Maybe it's you and not the book.

:P  That isn't exactly what I meant...but there has to be a good joke in there somewhere.

The binding of the book and the engraved writing along the spine indicate which side of the book should the "top"; however, the text is printed upside-down relative to both the binding and the spine text.

It's probably a Chinese knock-off.

Actually..the Printed was just attached to the binding upside down and if you think of it..it should be backwards..that is..the end of the book is where the beginning should be,,relative to to the printing on the spine and front cover. Otherwise, you would also be turning pages left to right rather than the standard right to left. Upside down . It wasn't mis printed..it was mis applied to its binding. In any case, hold on to it, pass it on to your grandchildren. By then it may have a hansom collectible value if it is in cherry condition. You can also get hold of the book store you bought it at and try to return it for correct laid out book. I would keep it just for a conversation piece if nothing else.

I agree with lurch, this is the kind of thing that crazy book collectors will pay thousands for in the future...or if not, the kind of thing that has novelty value!

I didn't notice that with my copy. I did however receive a new cover to replace the mis-spelled "Covenant".
