Which is better? The First Trilogy or The Second but uncompleted trilogy so far? And why?

IMO the episodes 4,5, and 6 are allround better films... I cant say why, they just seem to have a certain extra quality

4, 5 and 6 had something that simply can't be replaced in the first three. You had three watchable, arguing characters that drew you into their world completely. There is nothing like Luke, Leia and Han in episodes I-II-III. Jar Jar isn't a logical substitue.
