had an awesome dream thi smorning - in the form of a new tv show.

Fresh Meat tells of the post-zombie society.

in the dream I was an assigned zombie hunter for some midwestern city. the Fresh Meat in the title is our newest recruit to the team.

his newness and need for a training session forms the framework of the first episode.

it allows me to give him the history of the plague and what recovery is underway. it also allows for a meeeting with the main characters of our story.

only saw a few zombies in what i dreamed (other than flashback)

but it was an awesome dream!

I think it is being done, more or less.

What I'd like to see is a movie about zombies after the last human is dead. Just to explore what would happen if they couldn't get brains.

In the classic zombie tropes, sure. But you could go a different direction, say the drive to eat human brains/flesh/blood was the need of the disease and once the supply ended the disease faded and a few zombies returned to being human, sort of.

since they can't digest - not really sure why zombies want brains anyway.
