I've been exploring these emoticons. You should see the lot they have on punkrockers.com!

I find that these need to be studied in detail in order to catch all the subtle nuances. Funny, that's not unlike the Chrons themselves.

I don't understand the "inspector Covenant" reference in the last frame. I like Elena in the continuation frame at the end, that's quite ingenious!

In Edward Blake's "Pink Panther" series, two events lend themselves to an Illearth war satire.
Chief inspector Dreyfuss is driven insane by Inspector Clouseau's antics and develops and obsession to "kill Coulseau."
Also Clouseau's martial arts wielding sidekick Cato (referred to as "my little yellow friend") could be easily assigned to Bannor.
Over the top, perhaps, but it was too good to pass up.
I gave covenant a mustache, a houndstooth fedora, and a "france" tee shirt to tip people off, but if you've never seen the original "Pink Panther" movies, the joke will certainly pass you by.

Yes, I figured those who didn't want to wait for the finished product and could solve my riddle and find the hidden link might be amused if they got something other than a standard 404 error. I'll be nice and post it for those who choose to wait:

I've seen it.

You didn't get it? Maybe I need to be a little more heavy handed with my hints!

That might work better. By the way, the lack of "complumints" may be due to the fact that I'm the only one who found the secret link.

ah, no, I refer to my continuing failure to get anyone to take my novels seriously, although I have had more success here than anywhere else...
the compliments have been generous and rewarding, as far as my satire here goes!

Good, because it sounded like you were trying to trade compliments for producing more frames.

I would suggest trying to not be too terribly faithful to the text. However, I'm only assuming that this has been the issue.
I can't wait to see the exciting conclusion to South Park TIW.
