Tactile Sensitivity?

Im trying to catch up with the Third Chronicles and Im re-reading Fatal Revenant :) However, I have noticed a "wrinkle" in my reading experience. Now, this may be a little idiosyncratic quirk of mine but maybe the community folks have felt similar instances??? I have been experience strong tactile sensitivity while under an intense passage. Like most people, I am an obsessive re-reader of arresting wordscapes. I have a problem getting "deeper" into the book because I have a problem holding it. Today, I was at the thematic climax of Fatal Revenant when I notice the book had been lying on the floor for some time. I have never been thought of by my colleagues as a daydreamer or one to become lost in the moment. And yet, after an hour of reading the book, it appears I have not read a word. I swear I did!!! Please be patient with me, I am very embarrassed. Don't be mad with me. I'm hear to listen and ready for any advice, the garage door is "open". I need to get to the 3rd volume before the middle of March for personal reasons and am in need of serious insight. I have so many deadlines and things owed of me and I'm sure I will lose track of not only my reading but my tactile sensitivity. I may come to the point when my fantasy reading will cease if I cannot overcome this hurdle :(. Please respond.

You say you're ready for any advice. And, in general, I'm not at all opposed to giving advice. Alas, I don't have any idea what you're talking about. I sense it has to do with FR...?

And everybody please beware of spoilers if you respond. Info specific to FR should be in the Last Chrons forum.

Hmmm... I don't see any spoilers in Fatal Revenant myself, unless this whole topic is a huge pun on leprosy (tactile sense...lack of?). I don't get it.

Maybe he's just a genius and getting into some kind of deep theme or question of the book in a less-than-obvious way. What exactly are you trying to get at, Bottom Feeder? Welcome to the Watch, by the way! Welcome and be true!

Some days are better for reading then others. I would not worry too much about your reading deadline, it'll just add another level of stress that may exacberate the problem. Also, I'm assuming you've all ready read FR... so if the date comes around and you're not finished, just move on to AATE. That's what I did :P

Babybottomfeeder? Nahh!.............get out of here. If I can't spot a p**s take better than that then I don't know. (If by any fluke chance it isn't then see a doctor man coz there's nothing that we can do for you here!)
