you know i have never asked anyone if they've read this guy here. and i've been reading him again lately. he's had a pretty long career (fitful start, first published by a university press i believe) but i really dig him and wondered if there are any other JLB readers here at the watch.
if you do read him, has anyone read the latest in the Dave Robicheaux series? The Glass Rainbow.
if so, got any thoughts about it?
i recently caught up in the series and read the two most recent, Swan Peak and The Glass Rainbow.
the man is just a poet of a storyteller, in much the same way as Conroy in Prince of Tides. a bit grittier tho.
