Maybe I missed it.....but I couldn't find a mention of Liz Taylor's passing. I thought she was a wonderful actress and was very sad to see her health decline so rapidly in her later years.

My favorites were Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and Taming of the Shrew.

I saw Cleopatra, and maybe a few other movies from that time, but I was so young then all I remember are bits and pieces. I remember her mainly from her public persona; she always seemed ahead of her time, not satisfied with the roles Hollywood (and men) wanted her to play. And, of course, she was pretty hard to ignore anyways.

So many good ones, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, A Place in the Sun, Last Time I saw Paris, Butterfield 8, Virginia Wolffe, Elephant Walk, Cleopatra, her younger roles, the list just keeps going, and then of course, there's some Italian Films, I wish I'd never seen, heh.

She was a great talent, that'll be missed, it's a shame her body started betraying her so early.
