I don't know. I've been married twice, have three kids and two stepkids. I'm fairly curious about how I can be punished at this point.

We could ask Xar to quit monopolizing Freya's time, so she wants to actually talk to you once in a while. Maybe then, we'd get some P3 results out, too.

Sounds like a win-win, to me.

10 WAYS TO PUNISH FIST:

1. Ignore his texts (this only works for the moderator of the game)

2.... and don't post on the forum. He will drive himself crazy wondering what's going on.

3. Send everyone else's turns but his.

4. Tell him you sent it and resent it but it keeps coming back unable to deliver.

5. Make all his moves unsuccessful.

6. ...and make any move against him highly successful (hint, hint).

7. Post cryptic hints that make no sense.

8. Or, just post cryptic hints that *could* pertain to him.

9. Tell Fist you have a new person in your life and don't have the time to play Inferno any longer.

10. Tell Fist that you will be taking a 3 month break from Inferno.

If there was a 'good post' option in GT...
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

So... I just checked... Pantheon and GT Talk both allow the 'GoodPost' thing. Avatar, is there anything we need to do special to the other forums to allow that?

(And yes, I realize that there's nothing any of us can do, so it's really "Is there anything YOU need to do... ?")

I think I'll start sending emails to Fist, with the title "Inferno - <REDACTED> - Turn 8 Results".

Just to mess with him.

Looks like it's only active for forums that were created before the functionality was added.

Although all of GT is set to allow thanks, it won't show up in here for some reason. There will probably be other forums for which it isn't visible either. Doesn't seem to be anything I can do. Tried turning it off for GT and then on again, but didn't help.

Probably, IRL.
But I haven't the slightest idea how this game is working.

...and having been hearing some behind the scenes information from a few players, it wouldn't be fair to get involved now. Image

Assuming those players didn't assume you were secretly in the game, so they fed you false info... anyone starting now would be at a horrible disadvantage to some of the other players. At least if you wanted to try to get into the arms race that seems to be going on. There's no unclaimed resources now, so a new player would need to take Souls from someone else.

Though, I'd probably enjoy the hell out of someone trying that. :)

Nah, I don't think so. Really not the style of play I'm in to.
I definitely prefer non-competitive role playing.

But, it is interesting to hear what others come up with.

I don't see a problem with non-competitive here. Well, anyone else may likely put me out of business in one blow, but that's a game) I'm more interested in the feel and the process, than in winning over someone.

And I can share if you decide to join.

Okay folks. Let's set the next Inferno turn submission deadline (for Turn 9) for Sunday, April 1st. Any objections?
