Contest - Nations of the Firmament
So, just to save me some time having to invent it all, I'm asking for people to help declare what's going on in the living world, from which all of our Souls derive. This world does not correspond to our actual Earth world, though for convenience's sake, I'm going to start out with some Old or New Testament maps. Just so there's some realistic geography, and some settlement names already provided. Now we get to invent what those cities and nations are like, which should have nothing to do with actual history.
So, mostly I just need to have some "personalities" for about 15 different city-state nations. Are they very religious? Very commercial? Very warlike? Two or three of those? Do they practice slavery? Do they practice omni-sexuality? Patriarchal or matriarchal? You tell me. And give them names, please. I'll place them on the map later on, once I've picked a good map.
Since nobody has really broached this part of the game yet, there's no conflict of interest from letting you guys invent what happens above. And, your reward will be that by making me write less backstory, you're speeding up Turn 12s processing time.

Who broke the map? *shakes Fist*
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

My favorite part about how Nybbas chose to create all of the posts in the Encyclopedia thread, and then edit the content in later... is that none of the updates show up as new posts.
So stuff could appear... change... disappear... and Fist would never know there was an update, unless he's checking every post in the thread (over 100 posts, currently) every day.
And there's nothing I love more than setting things up so that Fist has to work himself into a frenzy for negligible rewards.
